Chardonnay
Origin
The grapes that give rise to our Antares wines come from Chile, a country with outstanding vineyards located in various regions. In these areas, a moderate Mediterranean climate is experienced, with warm and dry summers, and rainfall mainly occurring during the winter. This climatic condition promotes the cultivation of healthy grapes, with optimal ripeness and concentration, which contribute to the creation of flavorful and elegant wines.
Vinification
The grapes used in this Chardonnay mechanically or manually. In order to capture the fresh and fruity character of this Chardonnay, the fruit was carefully pressed. The must was later fermented in stainless steel tanks between 10°C and 12°C (50°F to 54°F) for optimum extraction of aromas and flavour. There is a small percentage which was fermented in French oak to give the final wine additional complexity.
